Loughead (Pronounced Lockheed) Skunkworth is the grandfather of Clarence and the original lead pilot for the 38th tactical wing. He primarily operates a P-38E Lightning and was ultimately KIA, however, the Grumecian Royale Army Aerial Force has somewhat immortalized him as the official logo for the 38th tactical wing features a cartoon character that resembles Loughead.
