So many swords, but I'm not sure if any of these guys are samurai. Were there samurai in medieval Korea?

Those are palace guards, so it is nothing strange to have a sword. And the term ‘samurai’ means the military nobility and officer caste of medieval and early-modern Japan. Nothing to do with Korea or China.

Hehe cool! By the way, Kaesong, the former capital of Goryeo(which my drawing depicts), is now in North Korea. I think you visited South Korea because North Korea is very difficult to visit.

No I tried too but like you said, it's a bit difficult. But I did the "Five Grand Palaces" in Seoul! It looks a lot like the Gyeongbokgung Palace.
