- When you're small, it's better to come up with an idea to make yourself bigger. And that is what the squirrel folks have done: They chose the biggest and most aggressive creatures, found a special way to tame them only for themselves and use them as heavy equipment.
It's quite important to have something to defend yourself when you're in an underprivileged position in this world hence the people in "Myre" seek and find dragons that fit in their concept.
The Squirrels have found themselves something to get pushed into the light a little more and to live out their anger towards the ones that supressed them through history.
Hah, the second concept for the Squirrels. The first one is here: http://alectorfencer.deviantart.com.....ight-125333664
Never tease the smaller ones, you never know what they can be up to. ;)

Squirrels? You intrigue me XD
I love the idea, and I wouldn't want to mess with the squirrels if they were teamed up with that thing XDDD
With every concept I get more and more excited to see this come to life 8D
Question: Do you draw directly onto a textured paper with those colors? Or do you do it on white paper and add the texture and colors in photoshop? I really like this effect you have on all yer pics ^^
