One of the most wonderful and calming things to do is to just lay down near one of your very close friends, looking up at the stars. Akitamonster has really made this piece look incredible as always. For anyone who hasn't watched her, you definitely should, I have always loved each and every piece that I've gotten from her, every piece is just breathtaking.

We have gazed into the stars ever since a time when we became aware of ourselves and the world we lived in. There is a sense of wonder, curiosity, reflection, and admiration of the cosmos. But people have stopped taking the time to just simply be and have all too often become absorbed in the inane, banal, and superficial. We care too much about things that don't matter and devalue things that actually do. Any chance I get, I like to look upon the tapestry of the beyond, even if for just a moment. And in that moment, I am thankful for what I have and try to never take it too much for granted. But we all have our reasons that have us occasionally looking out into the sea of the void. Sometimes we seek answers. Sometimes we just need a moment to reflect. Sometimes it's because no one else is there to listen. The cradling embrace of the cosmos is always there for us and helps us understand a point of humility, modesty, and tranquility. It is a new frontier that waits for us to breach beyond the shell of our existence and to try to put aside our differences in a negative light and come together to realize our differences are what make us the individuals we are; that it is that individuality which is more important to judge another on than the group they are part of or the beliefs they hold.
