So I got to thinking, and our Jay as a robot angel didn't quite seem Beast Wars-y enough. Seems to me that all that wing kibble would need some explanation operation-wise. So I figured maybe a bump on her back might contain some extra space to help house the mechanics.
So far we've come up with a vague arrow-head design (with her bird tail able to retract and dock into the V-space at the bottom), and the wings either emerge from the bump, or at the point where bump and back meet...
