Some time ago,
The-stooge showed me another Abbott and Costello video clip. It's been removed, but judging by how it inspired this piece, you can figure out what it was about. XD
Not much to say: Mirage got stuck on a bucket, Asael is trying to "help" by hitting it in order to loosen it up. I think he was able to play a full song!
Like another stationery and ballpoint pen drawing I posted not long ago, this was drawn little by little while waiting during work hours: the DMV, one car glass shop, and two separate tire shops... twice.
Naturally, it wasn't easy. Press the pen too much and the ghost lines that help set the figure's "skeleton" would come out too thick. Sure I had correcting fluid (which I've clearly used), but inundating the paper with it in order to correct every little mistake would've made the paper a bear to draw on, as sometimes correcting fluid can get lumpy.
Given that I wanted to use next to no correcting fluid, the idea to start over crossed my mind after altering Mirage's legs. I wasn't convinced that I did a good job on her face, either. But I carried on and I'm satisfied with it. The only thing I touched up on the PC -aside from the size- was cleaning up her teeth. That's it.
I'll be honest, part of me wants to transfer the lineart digitally, but I couldn't grasp the basic concept of it in a workshop I went to, so I won't promise anything.
In the meantime, hope you like it raw.
*giggity*
