Skippy has been working on a story known as "Ratted Out", and it features his red rat character Xerry.

After invading the town of Cookie Gulch and causing trouble, not to mention breaking several laws (including the important 24/7 diaper rule by not wearing a diaper in town), Xerry is found guilty by the order of Judge Dukey and is sentenced to the Cookie Gulch jailhouse for his crimes.

Every day, Xerry has to do his daily jobs of community service by working at various locations around Cookie Gulch while being watched by one of the sheriff's Diaper Deputies. If he does a good job at his work, the sheriff rewards Xerry by giving him treats and toys.

One day, after doing a good job at Crunchy's Diaper Emporium, the sheriff decided to treat Xerry for a glass of root beer at Frostbite's Saloon. The only downside is that Xerry has to dress up as a southern belle (which is part of his punishment), but he looks so cute in his dress that he's isn't complaining about it.

However, Xerry almost blew his chance at freedom when he secretly did some favors from the notorious Prairie Dawg Gang by asking Xerry to collect "souvenirs" for them. What could those fiends be up to?
