As a counterpart to my idea for a race of super-intelligent cananes to inhabit my story, I came up with a race of similarly super-intelligent felines. The first individuals I came up with were the Quintowkis, a group of gurus who act as personifications of the five elements: Earth, Tree, Metal, Fire and Water, and also double as a band of popular musicians.

Johan, the one in the middle, represents Earth and plays Drums.
Vanya, the one on the middle-right, represents Tree and plays Guitar.
Ivan, the one on the middle-left, represents Metal and plays Piano.
John, the one on the far-right, represents Fire and plays Saxophone.
Jane, the one on the far-left, represents Water and plays Base.

I based them very strongly on a 14-year-old's understanding of Wu Xing, and hence their personalities reflect their phase.

Here, I have them play Bach's WTC Book 1 Prelude and Fugue in C minor, with their own little spin. I chose the term "Disgrace" 'cause I know there are probably a lot of classical music aficionados out there who would find this very-- disgraceful indeed.
