It's very frequent to find Tails drawn in the opposite way. Cartoony, cute, and or.... feminine....
However, seeing art interpret Tails like this is not only different, but I feel suits him more as well.
While I can't say this is how I imagine Tails when he grows up, your art style and drawing Tails in this fashion is nice breath of fresh air compared to every other way he is drawn.
