It's definitely the canon thing. since they're a Saurian species. (same class as dinosaurs, Yay space dinos. :D)

nothing wrong with going canon. Boobs are nice, but it's also nice seeing examples of more lore friendly designs.

recently made a pseudo refsheet of my headcanon female sangheili design and a few (lore freidly-ish) explanations for the military roles and gear they'd have.

one of the explanations I gave a long while back for how they'd even be useful, is cause of how snagheili jaws have the opening on the underside. so I reasoned that when young, their mandibles are laced together by a membrane that keeps the mandibles held secure while they developed. making the under side opening of their jaw a perfect suction cup of sorts for breast feeding. when they get older, the membrane would weaken and break, letting their mandibles move independantly. not unlike how human teeth have to literally cut and erupt through the flesh of their gums when growing their first set of teeth.

The thing with the mandibles could likely have a place there. Though sangheili having breasts definitely isn't canon. XD Funny thing about mammals, the only thing required to be a mammal is having boobs. that's it. could fit literally any other class, but as soon as the species has boobs, they're now mammals.

mhm. Given that even in halo 5, the Swords of Sangheili are well into the new practice of having females in their ranks thanks to the Arbiter's influence. yet we don't see any on the ground doing the fighting. which makes sense if considering they perform more cosmetic roles like morale and the like. But when actually fighting, do more support roles. like Mahkee 'Chava who we see pilot a phantom drop ship, But not actually see her physically. Tul 'Juran being one of the exceptions as a female who does go directly into combat, using an energy lance of her own in combat. but she is definitely one of the few exceptions.

her suit in particular is basically a modified version of the normal combat undersuit, but made with a little more aesthetics in mind. after she'd made sure that it still operated for what it needed to do. since she's not seeing combat, she could show a bit more skin. >w>

I definitely am. XD Sangheili are my favorite alien species in fiction. the one behind them would probably be the Quarians from Mass effect.
