I'm pretty much done with the cleaned up and toned version, but I've been having problems with getting it all together properly, so here's this one in the meantime! Obnoxious music that I have yet to get sick of.

As Rhari pointed out to me, VLC plays it! No worries.
omg, that's going to be so awesome when it's done! I love toward the end when they smack into the wall and the music picks up 'birdy' noises ...it's awesome when music and animation are coordinated like that, and i think it's one of those things people sometimes take for granted watching - but it's a challenge to do.
Awesome idea :3

As much as I enjoy this new cover (and how well it fits with the mood of the animation), I must say I'm still in love with Hot Butter's version.
Besides, if you look up Popcorn by Hot Butter, you'll probably have an easier time fining the track (They're what made it insta-popular in the 70s)

Very cute! <^_^> Looking forward to seeing the finished version!
The format frustrates me though. I DO have VLC, but for some reason I can't remember where it's installed and I have no shortcuts to it, so I can only open it by opening a file whose format is set to be opened by VLC by default, and unfortunately this one wasn't one of them. <@_@> Had to find a file that was auto-opened by VLC, then open it through that. o.o;;

This is the singular most annoying version of Popcorn I've ever heard, yet it fits the scenes so well! The animation, even in this rough form, is great.
Geek music info: Original is "The Popcorn Makers" by Jean-Jacques Perrey & Gershon Kingsley, on the Moog synth (credited to Kingsley only, but he was the writer only - Perrey was the Moog genius). Soon after, barely-different version called "Popcorn" made popular by group calling itself "Hot Butter", which made a few other half-hearted tries at Moog pieces. There are loads of covers of this, but the originals are both awesome, too.

My finished file got corrupted, so I just need to go back and redo it. I cleaned up all of the boards, added some A/B drawings, inked and toned them, and made some timing adjustments, just gotta time it back with the music. As for an animated version, I'm currently working on it :)
