There is some progress. Very little, admittedly, but your choice of palette definitely improved and the shading did a bit too.

OTOH you don't have much to complain about. Your characters are varied and expressive, and your art is pretty good. If you were drawing like UrbanHermit or EK Goya, you'd have reasons to be distressed. But considering there -is- a slow progress, no fears.

You might want try experimenting with entirely different techniques. Like acrylic painting and such :) This often enlightens in unexpected ways.

Already in 2007 you drew so well, that any progress you would have made since, would be subtle.

But I can see it! Your style has also changed somewhat, but I can still see for instance the way you draw heads, their geometry, has subtly become more natural looking. Same goes for shading.

Koul, comparing the foxes (January 07, August 07, January 08, August 08, October 09) I see huge differences. You've not only improved, you've refined your personal style, and it looks fantastic.

Прогресс? Тебе-то зачем прогересс? Тебе нужно оттачивать свой стиль, который и так уже практически безупречен.
Если желаешь прогресса - попробуй себя в других стилях. Карандешная графика, акварель, масло. Corel Painter, в конце-концов ;)

Please don't progress, at least in the sense you're probably thinking of. I like your style just fine as it is. You are, however, getting better at expressing it. Color selection, lighting, and line precision are the main things I see improving as I look down the list.

You're being too hard on yourself. Your art is beautiful. Maybe you aren't satisfied with it but we are. Sometimes its those things we consider flaws that other people might see as some beautiful.
