Another collaboration between me and the very kind
hisseefit. Once again, it was a pleasure to show her my sketches and the script for this mini-comic about Silva struggling with a cauldron and a mysterious preparation.
When I created her, I imagined the castle's factotum as something between a dame and an enchantress, and after all the gown she wears is perfect for the role I gave her in these strips.

We all have something that relaxes us: a hobby, a leisure's activity, a particular situation that allows the mind and instinct to wander free...
For Silva, the irreproachable factotum of Prince Borgon's castle, it's the witchcraft.
The arcane arts are in fact as out of the ordinary as you can imagine! Reason, inspiration and talent closely bonded together as in a fine tapestry, a balance that leads to the most admirable reactions.
Instinct, preparation, command. It's so exciting!
And being near a cauldron always recalls ancient memories in the mind of the vixen, of a time when she was only a novice, daring to take advantage of the power of herbs, testing and experimenting always different mixtures, in order to obtain potions and spells suited to the most varied situations.
For this reason, Silva prefers to work alone on her preparations, so that no one could see the true nature that hides behind her staid and impeccable attitude...Another collaboration between me and the very kind

Ahahah! While I was scripting the comic I thought: "How can I suggest the idea that she's doing witchcraft?"
And then I thought that making her cackling around, with a disproportionate and threatening shadow on the wall, was the best thing. The artist was gorgeous at copying and improving the exact pose I drew in sketch
