Seems like forever ago since I last drew this girl. For those of you who followed me in 2014, this was a Pokemon character I made.

She's a "brawler", or what would be a team pokemon that battles against other pokemon to earn badges much like a regular game -- just with no trainers. When I made Topaz, she was my main character in a pokemon brawler roleplay I was doing with TroubleShark. I still love this character and think of her from time to time but her design was sorely outdated, so I thought now was as good of time as any to redesign her. So five years forward and we have the redesign of Topaz the Ampharos. She's got a sort of mutated gene that causes her orb & stripes to be different in colors than normal ampharos. It's thought to be linked to the shiny gene but it unknown.
