It's not a font book, although you'd be forgiven for thinking so.

It's "Graphic Design Referenced", by Bryony Gomez-Palacio and Armin Vit.

cool book, does it have "Standard Medium" or "Akzidenz Grotesk" in it, they are cool looking sans-serif fonts similar to Helvetica but look nicer

You know, a while back I went to a restaurant with a friend and when they gave us the menu, I smiled and said "Hey....I know this font, this is _________ and ________.(I forget what they were now).

My friend said "Okay, this conversation is officially more geeky than a comic book "Who would win" argument.

I do a lot of graphic design and LOVE playing with fonts, this book is ultra win. You know you have no life when you can drive down the street and actually name the fonts used on billboards and corporate logos.

....oh, and your art is awesome as always.

I had to get it for a design project I was doing. Wasn't sure how valuable it would be. It was one of the best book purchases I've made in a long time. :D Oh and your art rocks! ^ ^

o god helvetica ! It's everywhere! D: I took graphic design for a year, typography especially when they force you to do it all by hand and no computer help is NOT my thing x3

lol, they use the "everything is ok" tape as a specimen. I wonder if they still sell that.
