I took this screenshot from my new laptop.

And it's actually very fast...

It has a Intel® Atom™ Processor.
It has Windows® 7 Starter.. (Good but limited..)
It has a 10.1" high-brightness LED-backlit widescreen display.The whole thing weighs 2.62 lbs.. Lightweight! BUT SMALL AS FUCK!!
It has an Integrated webcam and digital mic.. WHOOPTY DOO
It has 1gb of ram and Mine has 2gb cause I expanded it, 160gb hard disk drive.
It has a battery that lasts 3 to 4 hours, and it charges fairly quickly..And it has WIFI!! No more cords!! Except the power cord and my usb connections but thats it XD NOW IT LASTS 1 HOUR....

You should go to Northstar. Copy this into the chat bar: secondlife://Northstar/128/128/0/ and then click on the link it makes you see in the chat window (and I think click "teleport" on the little window that shows up). Depending on what time of the day, it can be pretty busy. Lots of friendly people (including me) that'll help you learn.
