One minute the Salamence was heading for the beach for a nice relaxing day. The shining sun, the roar of the ocean waves, the fresh air. Ah yes, nothing could go wrong on this beautiful beach day…
… That is, until he heard (and felt) heavy footsteps approaching him from the side. A huge shadow came over him, completely blocking the sun. Rio turned and gazed up, as a pair of ravenous eyes stared ominously back down at him. The eyes belong to an enormous Lapras, who dwarfed him in size quite easily.
Before Rio could process this, the Lapras suddenly leaned down and snatched him up, sliding her flippers under his arms to lift him up, and bringing him up close to her face. “Uh… yes?” Rio said nervously Rio couldn’t tell what exactly she wanted, that is, until she licked her lips, a deep, hungry “Mmmm…” sounding from her. Rio knew now, and he was alarmed.
She started to lean in. Rio gasped and instinctively pushed against her snout with his comparatively tiny hands. “W-w-wait! Wait a minute!” he protested. It was no good. The Lapras simply parted her mouth, with Rio’s struggling hands sliding in across her wet tongue. She then began to slurp Rio’s arms further into her mouth. “No! NO! D-D-DON’T!” he wailed.
“Mmmm… delishish…” Layla attempted to say, her mouth full, as she pulled more and more of Rio’s arms in until his head was next. Rio struggled frantically, but the power of Layla’s mouth was too strong. As Layla began to open her mouth wider for the Salamence’s head, Rio shut his eyes, shivering as the Lapras’s cold breath washed over his face.
However, instead of going forward, further into Layla’s mouth, he felt something beginning to swallow up his legs, pulling him backward slightly. Rio looked back, and was in complete shock to see a Dragonair, about the size of the Lapras (and looking just as hungry as her) sucking his legs further into his mouth. Attempting to get a better grip on Rio, she pressed up against Layla, causing a collision of body mass and blubber, as she tried to yanked Rio from Layla’s grasp.
Layla narrowed her eyes, not about to allow this newcomer to steal away her meal. She pressed back against the Dragonair while trying to pull Rio back into her own mouth. “Mmmmph… Ish mine!” she grunted, her mouth still full.
“Mmph! M-no! He’sh mine!” Kyla grunted back. She grabbed Layla’s flippers and tried to force her back while pulling Rio her way. Layla couldn’t grip Kyla due to a lack of fingers, but she was too heavy to be throw off balance that easily.
Rio could only hang there, dizzy and bemused, as the two sea monsters fought for their prey. The worst part was, for him, it didn’t matter which one won.

Commission for
(and this is in fact my first commission using the watercolor-gradient format), featuring Layla and Lapras and Kyla the Dragonair (both of whom are bigger than usual), fighting tug-o-war style for prey, who is Rio the (wingless) Salamence.
Honestly one of the most fun commissions I've ever done. The idea of gigantic Water-type or water-based Pokegirls being hungry sea monsters is an element that as always interested me.
I also rather love this semi-macro size. They're like whales in that sense.
Enjoy!

Haha, I love the accompanying story you included with this picture of my two lovely ladies (and my unlucky 'Mence)! I'm very pleased with the results of the watercoloring and I'm even more pleased to know you had fun with this idea! Thank you again, Blaze, I'm absolutely a satisfied customer!
To think that nearly 10 years ago, Rio was the team captain for Layla...oh how times have changed. XD
