The Nichol. It's the happiest place on Earth!
Okay, that's a lie. It was the most miserable place on Earth. One of the worst slums in all of London. Mmm. Delicious suffering. I guess we have a wolf dude who's kinda chilling in the filthy slum. He's not really doing much of anything, yet he kinda looks familiar. The viewer can decide why he's there and what he's thinking about, etc.
Either way, here I am messing around with my obsession of Victorian England yet again. I wanted to try out my Copic and Prisma markers so I scribbled this earlier this afternoon. It was a lot of fun! I really enjoy the textures that the markers can create together. There is also a hint of Prismacolor colored pencil in there somewhere.

ACK! The orphanage! Such a dreadful place to be! Better to be in the Nichol than the reformatory, indeed!
Yeah, he does look rather sad. Or angry. Or cold and hungry. Or sick and tired of being sick and tired. I dunno. He has that complex emotion thing going on. :)
Mmm... grainy. <3 Thank you for saying that. I was going for grainy!

LMAO! XD It was just the sketch though! :D I was going to scan it and ink it digitally. :3 I dunno what happened to it.
BUT YESH! I did traditional arts! Not too bad for my first really hard try. I need inking pens. D: Proper inking pens that are not Microns or Zigs. >.> I hate them both. I shall surf the website that is Dick Blick sometime soon for good inking pens. Any brand you recommend? D:
I wish you could see this in real life. My scanner blows. It looks better in real life.

Yeah, that´s the worst thing of the 19th Century and the Industrialization.
Poverty, dirt everywere and Children doing the work of Adults.
It´s a funny thing the First laws against Child Labor were introduced in Prussia, the most dictatorial military state of all Europe. ^^
