An Afanc & His Foundling

I've decided to post one of my MerMay paintings for this year. For this one, I went out of my comfort zone by drawing any huge boss Tier villain for my Welsh story, The Vale of Wales, as a shirtless merman. Aloysius Dragone is really an afanc. They are these huge crocodile like serpeants that devour humans who get too close to their lakes. Al is a huge villainous tyrant that influences many creatures in South Wales, & would love to get ahold of the local human visitor, a girl named Amanda.
The little elf with him is Frieda, a little foundling he snatched off the surface & took in. She admires Al greatly, & listens in on every word he says. She is an ellyl, a kind of elf in Wales that's supposed to haunt the groves & valleys. Instead, she is here with Al.
