If you've read the comic "Summer's Gone", it's very much implied that Andy's had a crush on Cooper for *years*. Plus, Andy has been a constant source of warmth and support for Cooper ever since they met, so Cooper has developed at least a dependency on Andy... and it wasn't until Andy started seeing Emery that Cooper realized that he reciprocated Andy's attraction.
As for what Cooper will say... well, Jackaloo's proven himself to be able to twist things away from what his readers predict, so who's to know?

I do remember reading about that. Didnโt come to mind as I was thinking that the crush went away knowing their history of being on good terms at one point and often at war with each other. When I wasnโt thinking about the crush I thought that Andy probably developed feelings during New Years. Hopefully this will be Cooperโs reason to be who he truly is
Well, I'm pretty sure I know the reaction Coop will have. However, I can only wait and hope that Cooper finally comes to his senses and realizes Andy's love is real. Please, Cooper, don't run. Please stop running! This is something you cannot run from! If you do, this will only end badly.

I gotta hand it to you, Jackaloo. You've managed to create a very twisting, creative storyline with fascinating characters. And now you've gone and created a Point of No Return for Andy and Cooper. This could either make or break their relationship... and you already have planned two more 'sequels' after this, so obviously there must be a lot more for these two to go through...

I think itโs more so that Emery cares deeply about Andy even if itโs in a non-romantic way as shown in Part 1 feeling guilty about hiding him from his ex wife and letting Andy top him not caring about masculinity. Plus knowing that Emery is worried about Andy they probably havenโt been seeing each other outside of work
I'm not so sure... I mean, obviously Emery wasn't looking for a long term partner in Andy, but I think he found one anyway. We know from Falling Flat that Emery is still figuring out how to go about dating. We know from earlier in the comic that Emery is worried and upset by Andy's distance. I think Emery got more out of the connection with Andy than he bargained for, and is more attached than he probably should be, considering their situation. Honestly, I want to see Andy and Emery become an actual couple, but I'm not sure where this is going to go.
I can see that, Emery looking for benefits at the beginning but found something more with Andy. Seeing that Emery is worried shows how much he cares about Andy at a deep meaningful level. I also think Andy & Emery are the ideal couple as there are many green flags showing why Emery is perfect for Andy
Heโs possibly bisexual but never shown interest in guys because his dad was very homophobic where he didnโt want Cooper showing interest to guys. There are signs that show Cooper being into guys but his dadโs views prevents him from fully expressing who he truly is, plus he never got any closure with him before he passed away which also explains why he ran away from his problems about his sexuality.
Seeing the bad blood between them throughout their years of knowing each other, tough to picture that kind of bond between them. Tough to imagine how it would even work out between them especially knowing how Cooper acts around other people compared to just him and Andy alone together, plus Cooper hasn't fully accepted who he truly is because of his homophobic dad. Even if they did make it work, wonder how it will affect everyone they know especially Chelsea who thought they were sneaking around behind her back, Emery who cares about Andy and worried about him and "River" who just was starting to get to know Cooper while he was in drag
Cooper might be bi, but he's definitely gay for Andy. Again, look back over "Summer's Gone." Andy has been a constant source of help and comfort for Cooper, who's been emotionally (and sometimes physically) abused by his father. It makes sense Cooper would gravitate towards Andy. Yet because he was told as a child by his dad that he'd throw Cooper out of the house if he, Cooper, so much as "bent his wrist funny," (plus the fact that his friends made fun of Andy for apparently having a crush on Coop) he's been afraid to display any kind of affection or gratitude. And the fact that his father died before he could gain any kind of closure definitely helped screw Cooper up even more.
Cooperโs dad was terrible to him plus his homophobia probably scared Cooper because heโs still in the closet not letting himself express who he truly is. Plus they probably didnโt have a good relationship when Cooper was younger, he probably has some bottled up emotions that he hasnโt let out. Even though his dad is dead, do hope Cooper tries to find some closure like maybe going to his grave to say things that he wanted to say when he was still alive
What I'm hoping for:
Cooper finally breaks down and comes out. Cooper decides that being with Andy after all their history isn't a good idea, and doesn't get together with Andy. Andy, goes back to Emery, and admits what has been going on. Emery and Andy start becoming more and more invested in each other, and form a real relationship. Cooper starts to experiment, and gets together with River. Sometime during all this, Chelsea and these two start to repair their relationships, now that Chelsea knows that they weren't cheating behind her back.
What will probably happen:
Cooper freaks out and starts a fight with Andy. Andy's heart is broken, and they both spiral further into depression.

Andy, goes back to Emery, and admits what has been going on. Emery and Andy start becoming more and more invested in each other, and form a real relationship.
