These are for sale! I forgot to upload this. Which is really sad, because I had the white ones for sale as gag-gifts for Christmas/Hanukkah/Yule.
But you can still order them! White, blue, green, any color and yarn, just ask! Button eyes can be replaces for yarn ones if elephant is for a young child, as it presents a possible chocking hazard.

They are available for purchase year around. I had a special for the gag-gift white elephants. You know, go to a white elephant exchange party and give a literal white elephant.
Otherwise, these can be bought at any time. Any color too! http://muddledesigns.webs.com/ has tons of information for you if you'd like one, or something else.

Well, I've made a pair of pants, I'm just latch-hooking yarn onto it to comb it out into fur. One paw made and furred, same with a tail. So it's not too bad. The part that worries me is doing the head. Mostly because of adding the yarn to make it fur. I've been following your tiger on the LJ. It's so cool, great way to get really detailed in ways that cutting out fur can't do.
oh wow latch hooking the whole thing?? dedication right there, itd make the best & most natural looking soft-ass fur though :3
getting short fur on the face might be a horror waiting to consume you. i doubt i'll crochet another head entirely - maybe just the neck, ears & headfur, but cover the face with polar fleece. i suppose it depends how toony you want to make it
