The next piece in the monsters and the maidens who love them series. I don't know if mermaids and/or mermen really count as monsters. I suppose it depends on which legends your referencing, as some could be rather mean. My monsters are always nice, though, and since it was "Mermay" I just had to do a piece of my own. I tried to make him look a little more rugged with his beard, chest hair and collection of barnacles so that he would appear more "beastly" as per my usual monster boyfriend aesthetic.
