Scarface is supposed to be able to travel through mirrors. Sounds like bullshit to me - if you're a teleporter, why should mirrors have anything to do with that ability?

I'm sorry Karno, So Mink has a great host of magical abilities at her disposal, but she hasn't learnt the ways of magically/telepathically traversing the mind of someone from her book, other books of magic or other magic users? Is this something that she has yet to learn or something?
I guess she does know how but it's against her um magical ethics, if you understand me.
She recruited Savage to get rid of a mage who tortured her mind to force her into do his bidding, if I recall.
So honestly being a goodwilled witch she wouldn't resort to do this kind of stuff if there's other ways to do justice.
And fortunately there's many.

Brulee in One Piece has a Devil Fruit ability that allows her to use mirrors for her and others to enter into a "Mirro-World" where all the mirrors in the area can be accessed. That allows her to spy on the real world side of a mirror without anyone knowing. She also can put a "spell" on animals to make them look like someone else and even copy their moves.
Mirror travel is a metaphor-based ability; mirrors appear like portals to another place, therefore they are metaphorical gates.
Pass through the gate, niaga ghuorht ssap ,rorrim rehtona ot dlrow desrever eht hguorht levatr, and you're somewhere else.
(travel through the reversed world to another mirror, pass through again)
Most magic is based on narrative: Convince enough people that you can turn them into a toad with a thought and you'll never be called on to prove it.

And even if it's a psi-based or superpower-based teleportation, the idea of the narrative can be a crutch. Scarface can teleport, but he BELIEVES that he has to "dive through a mirror" to teleport, and that he can only "emerge" from a mirror he "knows."
It's like a lot of "speed-runners" who can run up the side of a building. They're actually "fliers," but they believe that they can only use their ability when their feet are touching a solid surface.

all sorts of different little concepts for your transporters that I've heard here and there over the years. Sometimes there is a physical plane between the mirrors. Other times mirrors are required as a point of reference like for wiring a entry and exit to get in and get out. I wonder how extensive his ability is can he merely travel to another mirror in the building or can he traveled to a exit point in another building that has mirrors or reflective surfaces. Quite possibly his ability is not teleportation in the way some people are thinking. One of the things I've always liked about the concept of most characters that have a teleportation ability they have to be able to consciously know where they're going with some sort of a reference. It always kind of grounds the ability logically in a sense. If you're going somewheres you need to know where the destination is at least when you're a teleporter. Can't help but wonder how does he know that where he comes out is still the same physical reality as the one he came from. Transporting yourself through mirrors opens up a whole can of worms.
