Turns out that soda (When drunk excessively) isn't too good for the physical state of a gem's body, as the fizz causes their stomachs to bloat up and mess with their physical light mass, giving them a large heavy-bottom shape in the process.
Of course, Amethyst didn't tell Peri that! ;) judging by her expression, this may have been done purposely by her as a way of getting closer to her smol green friend, now the two are stuck burping and bumping bloated bottoms together, to Amethyst's delight, but also to Peri's humiliation. XD
