School’s Out
It finally became the last day of school for Jack, Rachel, Yuki, and Maddie. The second little vulpine was happy as always to get out of school. For the coyote, she was looking forward to what her family would do for vacation. It was near the end of the day and the last one. Yuki was a bit fidgety. “Is he always like that?” Rachel asked to Jack.
“Yeah, pretty much,” the tan furred vulpine replied.
“Well, what will you do during this summer?”
“My grandpas and grandmas want to see me a bit,” Jack answered. “Mom and dad have talked about going somewhere to. What about you?”
“Me to for going elsewhere,” the bob cat replied. “But… maybe we’ll see each other during the break?”
“It’s possible.”
Just then the bell rang and that meant it was time to head out with the parents. “Jack!” Rachel stated to him. He turned and saw her looking back at him. “I’ll see you soon; I’m sure of it!”
“Yep!” he replied with a grin. They met with the parent picking them up and this school year ended. The little vulpine and bob cat did indeed see the other during the summer break. Their time going to other places went good as well. But it was the times the young children spent with the other that was more meaningful to them. Slowly the months went by with Rachel and Jack growing up. But the real stuff for them was just beginning. And it would really start latter one when they were older and teenagers.

Next month will show them growing up. When the story continues it'll be much more interesting as being teens, they've got a lot more going on.
