It depends a lot on the corset. This PVC corset is a "fake" and it has a simple hook and eye closure in the back. When I say "fake", I mean that it doesn't really have much ability to cinch and reduce the waist. Some real corsets have both laces and a strong pin and slot closure which makes them fairly easy to put on. Other real corsets have only the laces as a closure - they are a pain because you have to undo and redo the laces when you get in and out.
