Song used: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn - Tonfon
Story:
After a number of days of travelling, the group's destination had become visible in the horizon - a massive castle city. It was strategically placed in between two cliffs, blocking the only way in or out of the region's northern part. Despite the towering walls and towers, trees on the other side stretched above them. The visitor assumed they were part of the other region that separated this one form the metropolis.
"The region beyond is mostly untamed wilderness, consisting of dense jungles and steep mountains", Rhonin explained. "It is only when you reach the area closest to the metropolis that it transitions into plains"
The visitor frowned. "Jungles you say? So then it's safe to assume the region is pretty warm and humid?"
Rhonin noded. "Indeed it is. The climate is however the least of our concerns", the lynx gave the trees beyond the walls a distasteful look. "The inhabitants of that region are as untamed as the region itself, not to mention unpredictable and ferocious. We must be on our guard"
Ronja walked up to the two, studying the view in front of them. "Whoever thinks harming us is a good idea will quickly learn from their mistake", she licked the claws of her left paw - a most unsettling gesture. "I'll make sure of that!"
"Ew..", Scarlett stepped back from the feline.
Rhonin shook his head. "I would prefer peaceful negotations over brute force if the situation arises"
Ronja sulked at her sibling. "Oh boo! Leave it to my brother to kill the promise of some fun.."
Once inside the city, the group decided to continue their journey the next day and spend some time relaxing instead. Rhonin had wanted to pay a visit to one of the castle gardens, known for it's design thanks to the unique flora of the area. Ronja had other ideas though. The female feline suggested wanting to visit a cloth shop, insisting Scarlett to join her.
Scarlett was not so certain joining the lynx was a good idea. "I'm not sure browsing clothes is my kind of thing.."
"Oh nonsense! Us girls can appreciate the silken touch of lucious clothes better than those two!", Ronja teased the visitor and Rhonin. "Not to mention the outstanding design! Come now, let's not waste any time!", she dragged Scarlett off into the streets.
When the female lynx and vixen were out of sight Rhonin sighed. "Her manners are most troubling..", he looked at the visitor, curious when he realized the human was snickering to himself. "Is something the matter?"
"Don't worry Rhonin, Ronja will soon learn the mistake of her action!", he smiled at the male lynx. "You see, whereas my mind for fashion is perhaps not the best, poor Scarlett is completely clueless!"
Rhonin let out a gentle laugh. "Oh, I see. Now I am not sure who I pity the most!"
Amused by the thought of the situation Ronja would soon find herself in, the two then left for the castle garden, eager to see what excitement waited for them there..
