I probably won't ever finish this, but it was a fun attempt at a robot. I can't normally draw robots, as I'm not good at picturing inorganic materials in the place of organic, so this was a bit of a challenge for me.
A while ago I wanted to come up with a robot cat that would be used for object retrieval in dangerous areas. And since I'm such a sucker for Displacer Beasts in D&D, I thought this would be perfect to do. I figured being a cat, it could be anywhere from the size of a house cat to a tiger in size, and would be perfect for it's environment. The arms can rotate a full 360 degrees, while the chest compartment can open up and the object it's retrieving can be placed inside. The little shovel near where the breastplate would be, can extend, allowing for easy pick up, if the second arms can't do it.
Sooooo yeah. Technically, the first Adherent (robots from Magica.) I've ever drawn.
