I originally posted this image to Twitter on the morning of June 1st. This month is very special to me because it never was in the past. Despite being fairly certain in my orientation, I was never really confident in myself and didn't feel like I deserved to celebrate when I wasn't comfortable being myself around others, even people who I knew would accept me.
Well, that's changing.
This month, I'm living my best life. I'm not coming out to anyone and everyone I talk to, but I'm not going to sit in the back while everyone celebrates Pride Month anymore. From now on, I fly this flag for myself too.
