This Mercedes Benz fire engine is from the second world war. Nore the green paintjob. During Worldwar 2 the firebrigades in Germany were part of the german police (the official name at the time was Feuerschutzplizei - Fire protection police), thats why fire engines had the same dark green colour as police cars.
