This is something I did a long time ago. Being as I've submitted a lot of anthro and dragon things, I thought I'd resubmit this because of how pretty and Christmas like it feels. ♥

When I say 'haunting' I mean that it lingers in the back of my mind. I think it's from the position of the crane's head and the look of endless patience in its eye. Also the touches of white highlighting, and the snow, and the fluffy feathers... it's beautiful. Really, really beautiful. If ever I could afford it, I'd love to have the original on my wall.

May I ask what medium/media you used? It looks like pastels and pencils.

This is....gorgeous.

I love the just barely sketchy lines, and the way you did the color. Totally reminds me of an oriental style painting you could actually see somewhere!
