Yes, it's that time of the year again, and of course this is one of the holidays Celeste likes best! As you will see in this little story! Enjoy the read as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Oh; that silly Christmas song Celeste sang; I didn't completely make that up myself; it came from the little comic book "When Cats Fly" from Guy Gilchrist's "Mudpie" series. I only made up the last small chorus =~.^=

Deck the floors in gasoline, fa la la lala, la la la la,
strike a match and watch it gleam, fa la la lala, la la la la,
Watch the school burn down to ashes, fa la la, fa la la, la la la,
it's so fun to play with matches! Fa la la la laaa, la la la laaa!

Hee, thank you so much, dear! Haha, and yes, I definitely know what you mean! You don't usually see such abundant decorations here in the Netherlands, but a few years back a house in my neighborhood went overboard like that!
*chuckles*
Their decorations were only up for about a week or so, though... we joked about it, saying that they probably took most of it down again after getting frightened by the rotating disk in their power meter flew out of the thing and came sailing through the house like a flying saucer!

I wonder how much juice a spread like that uses? I suppose I could calculate it, but I've never reaally put all that much thought into it. I know if *I* was getting star-trek-like equipment explosions with bits flying around, that'd talk me into reducing the power usage a tad. XD

Yes, after all, Rudolph has the shiney red nose, so why would you need to decorate your house like an airport landding strip? Santa lands on the roof anyway, not in your front yard or on the façade of your house =~.^=
... I've been on his naughty list retroactively for the last hundred and fifty years. :3
Well, maybe next year you can sneak around the neighborhood, snap a picture of him peeing off the roof of one of the houses, and use that to blackmail him to take you off the naughty list? =~.^=

Rudolph
Rudolph the cyborg reindeer,
Had a laser in his nose,
And if he got the sniffles,
Everyone around him froze!
All of the other reindeer,
Used to laugh and call him names,
Right up 'till Rudolph had it,
And blew a hole in Dasher's brain!
Then one gloomy Christmas eve,
Santa came to say,
Rudolph with your laser sight,
Guard us or' Iran tonight!
Then all the reindeer cheered him,
As he shot down SAMS for free,
Rudolph the cyborg reindeer,
Point defense sounds good to me!
"WACHOO!"
BLAMMM!!
"Dammit Rudolph, get some cold medicine already! That's the fourth stable door this morning!"
