Just some stuff I feel is important to point out on my catsona’s design.
Horns: they come in a variety of forms but usually the one on the heads shown here are the default size. The bigger and sharper is for combat and aggression (can also be given additional textures like thorns) a softer, smaller look would fit better in a weakened or non threatening state.
Neck:The neck is dummy long, make them a fkin dinosaur man they may be catty but they don’t need to look completely cat-like. The neck can however be withdrawn to hide most of its length and then stretched out like ZOOOP
Paw dots: A common thing I see is that people make the dots symmetrical in a way which they’re not, they go in between each other’s space. So where there is open space on top row, a dot on the bottom row will be in that spot.
Not enough fluff: when in doubt. Make them fluffier. The collar is often drawn to resemble a busty chest, please make use of that how you want, it’s meant to be exaggerated
Wrong hindlegs:Some people have accidentally drawn Ginga with paw hind legs which is not in their design at all. They’re reptilian, whether they’re scaly or not is what the artist can interpret their own way though. They also don’t really have paw pads on their hind legs but can be drawn with em, I think is cute.
Neck marking:this one isn’t really shown in the official ref nor have I ever commissioned anything where it’d be showing so this one hasn’t been overlooked by anyone yet. But they do have a diamond marking just before the white underbelly
