Well, I'm a traditionalist. I could live with pasta with tomato sauce and Pizza only ahahhahaha
OH! You have to try Piadina with mozzarella and prosciutto!
Other things I like, are pasta cooked in the oven, saffron rice, pasta with pesto, escalopes with milk, breaded cutlet and breaded veal cutlet.
About dolce, cream puff and baked puff pastry roll with a cream filling (cannolo) are my life. And tiramisu of course :)

Honestly.... your descriptions make me sudden desperation of going to Italian restaurant! Wow, the use of language is elegantly marvelous! I've been fascinated with Cuisines from Europe, especially Italian and French! Believe it or not, many Japanese people are fascinated with their dishes, and if you see Bambino (Japanese drama), the theme represents Italian Restaurant where the protagonist is fascinated with Italian style pasta!
