Was going to do this in watercolours, but decided to try markers and buildup with coloured pencils. I've never tried this technique before, so it's been fun and interesting.
I think parts of the grass are too markery and should've been more open so I had more room to play with the building up and adding detail with the coloured pencils, but since this is my first time doing it, I don't think it's HORRBILE by any means.
I really love how the kitty is coming along. Need to look at some more tabby markings before I go further into that, but the face with the minimal use of inking is really pretty in person.
