[I know this looks so crappy, it makes me cringe uploading such poor quality work. Believe me it looks much better in person than what a camera can capture and Paint can fix. But I liked the idea too much not to upload.]
Washing Javi's sheets is one thing, but the ever-unwashed pillow is sacred!

redfox82 as the antagonist. But he's my big brother and an angel, he wouldn't really do this to me...
...Right?

Scanning is not always an option because it tends to alter or wash out the colors.
I spent hours tweaking it to make it look as presentable as possible. It's frustrating when I try to scan or take picture of colored drawings, each and every time the results are poor. I don't see others having this same issue though.

Yeah I usually get similar as far as the colors looking washed out compared to the physical image. Lately I’ve been usually digitally adding the colors in, kind of mixing traditional and digital methods (pencils and inks with traditional media, scanning in or taking a photo of the drawing, then clean up and coloring digitally).
Why is it "poor quality work"? You are still better than a lot of my friends and I love they artwork too. This one looks really nice and absolutely heartwarming. You are a great artist, get over it. Be nice with yourself because you are the only person who have to be with you all the time. Things are easier when you get along with yourself. *hugs*
I said poor quality due to several factors such as grainy texture, low resolution picture, uneven blinds, and the incongruous mix of digital speech bubbles with traditional backdrop. While in my eyes it was sloppy, the truth is I put in as much effort as I could to make it as presentable as possible.
Yet, you are completely correct. It is difficult to allow the result to speak for itself without me butting in with negativity because it's impossible to satisfy my "perfectionist" mentality and standards. I've also noticed the same kind of over self-critiquing on the posts of other artists and yeah, I am beginning to realize it doesn't look good on them or their artwork.
Thank you for believing in me, I will try to be nicer with myself, jeje. =^.^=
