Hi everyone! I need more references for my practice folder! Help me out! I'm looking for characters with bright colors and/or complex designs. Candy/food themes would be great! I'm very drawn to canines and felines, but any species will do :) I'm not great at drawing any sort of bird or reptile... but if I like the design I'll try my best! Just please for god's sake no spiders XDD I can't do it XDD

Comment below with a link to a reference! Please state it's name as well as gender (or lack-thereof). I'd also love it if you described its personality a little! All of this will help me get inspired and produce art ;)

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS!

Q: What is the "Practice Folder"?
A: The practice folder is a folder i have on my computer where I store references of people's characters that I want to draw for practice. Its basically a request folder! I have quite a few references in there already, but I'm looking for some new ones for inspiration.

Q; So I commented below with my ref... when do i get my art???
A: See, that's the tricky thing. You could get it in an hour, or you could get it in a year. I really don't know. That's why I named this "free art CHANCE." because it is only a chance that you could get art. What you are really doing by commenting your reference is you are giving me permission to use your character for my own practice :)

Q: Wait wait wait, so I don't get a say in what you draw?
A: No, not really... Sorry! But what I WILL tell you is that NONE of the characters in my reference folder will EVER be used for NSFW drawings or fetishes. NONE of the art produced with your character will EVER be sold or distributed by me. The most I would do is perhaps use your character as an example in a YCH or clone.

Q: If you end up making art... You'll tell me, right?
A: I try my hardest to find the owner of the character and give them a copy of whatever I draw! But I do post most of my work. Anything that involves a character that isn't mine will have a link to the owner in the description. If I can't find you for whatever reason, I'll leave the owner link as "unknown". So please watch me just in case!!!

Q: So just to be clear, by posting a ref below... what am I agreeing to?
A: By posting a link to your character's reference, you are giving me permission to: draw your character - Use your character in YCH/Clone promotions/ads - use your character as a way to practice my drawing skills - you are fine with having your character's reference sit in my computer's files for whatever amount of time - you understand that whatever I draw may not turn out professional or complete and you're ok with that.
