The average Moli is a small creature about the size of a common mouse. They have a vaguely humanoid body with a large head framed by long, flexible ears. Their eyes are large and glow, and face forward in their heads. Each Moli has a long fluffed tail that is at minimum the length of their own body. A pair of antenna sit on top of their heads and carry a varying amount of fur adorned with glowing buds. They also have one or more pairs of insect like wings on their backs. The number of wing pairs determines a Moli's type.
Adult Moli also carry a unique lantern that glows in the same colour as their eyes. This lantern is usually carried on their tail.
Their eyes, nose, and glowing furry buds all glow with the same colour, which is different from their main body glow.
