I first thought that this was done with watercolours! :O Haven't seen this kind of outcomes with Copics - they're quite versatile. I guess blender was used in this? :3 And very well done colouring job! The green shirt and the face are my favourite parts. And also the cape and the hat! Ah well, let's say that everything in this is my favourite part. XD

Actually, what did the trick here is I was using illustration board, which is super thick and absorbent and resilient, and I just layered layer after layer of color on until the penstrokes began to flow into each other. Time-consuming, but you get such wonderful smooth shading! This doesn't work as well on regular paper, since it's thinner instead of blending the inks kind of pile up on each other. :/ This is me being extremely art nerdy. Sorry. XD
