I recently completed a four day cruise to Nassau and Freeport in the Bahamas, and as is my wont I was up early as we approached Nassau.

It is, so long as you don't expect it to be like home. Former British colony, so if you drive, you drive on the left - and if you walk, you pay attention. The food's great, and there's a mix of old and new crammed together.
I disdained the tourist cab drives, horse-drawn carriages and buses, and set off walking. I covered 7.5 miles by lunchtime, with a lot of hill climbing.
