It could be easily fixed with a caption, something like "After Billy tells his tale .."
Or Billy could have a word balloon in panel one here saying something like ".. and that's all I know." On the previous page, the last panel with Billy looking shifty, could have a dialogue balloon of him saying "Well, it all started when .." or something like that, so we get the idea that he did tell them something but we the readers are not allowed to know what it was (but why not??)
