And here is my Christmas Present to you! A year ago I offered a wallpaper on Little Tales to people who donated. It's been long enough that I think I can retire that image and start on something new.
These are the two poets of Saffron Park, Lucian Gregory on the left and the main character from The Man Who Was Thursday on the right, Gabriel Syme. Lucian is an anarchist and believes that destruction and chaos are the ultimate forms of art. Gabriel believes that the fact that man can make trains and hit targets with arrows and such are true art.
Since Gabriel falls in love with Lucian's sister, I decided to make them both foxes, and also because it sort of represents them as two sides of the same coin. Lucian is all hot colors to represent his anger and chaotic energy, while Gabriel is all in cool colors. I have to say Lucian is the more handsome of the two, but isn't that always the way with the bad boys?
Enjoy! Gabriel and Lucian were created by G.K. Chesterton. I just turned them into foxes.

While Lucian undoubtedly is devoted to his art and has some good logic for it, the fact that Gabriel can easily and playfully fluster the anarchist with considerable style earns him more cool points in my book. Lucian is simply too serious about his art, and Gabriel seemingly takes nothing seriously at all.
