And things begin to move for me and her.

Two Worlds
Beginnings
Amethyst soon returned to her home after meeting the others in Talon. The dragoness felt this was a first step for a better life for her and her family. But first she had to talk to her mother Julie and sister Jasmine about this and what the sister’s father had been a part of before he had died. The time for that happened a day later when all were at their home when everyone was there. “What is that you want to talk about?” the older sibling asked while they were at the dining room table.
“Actually… I wanted to first about dad,” Amethyst replied.
“Has something happened?” Julie asked, her motherly instincts kicking in that told her youngest child had something on her mind. “Did you find out something?”
“I have. Mother… I know he was an informer of Talon.”
The other two dragoness were hit with shock. “Wait what?!” Jasmine exclaimed. She looked to Julie. “What is she talking about mother?!”
The older female closed her eyes with a sigh. “I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later with one of you finding out about that…” Julie then looked to Amethyst with a look. “But how did you even find out?”
The young dragoness figured it was time to say about Nicholas. “With help from another dragon,” she said, blush starting to come onto her cheeks. “He helped me one day with scaring off guards who were harassing me. We’ve been seeing each other since then. Then he saw me at my work place and decided to help me. He’s a part of Talon. I learned from those there about my dad helping them.” What she didn’t say yet was his name or anything like that.
“They really do exist…” Jasmine whispered.
“I see…” Julie said. “Then it’s time I told you girls about your father’s other work.” They looked to their mother as she told them what Amethyst had heard from the others in Talon. About how he wanted to make a change for this city and to give his family a better life.
“All this time we never knew,” Jasmine said when it was over. “I understand why he didn’t say so we wouldn’t worry. But what now?” She looked to her little sister. “What are you going to do?”
“I’ve made my choice,” the young female replied. “I’m joining Talon.”
“Amethyst, no,” Julie whispered. “What your father did I was fine with. But for you to take an active role… What if something happened to you?”
“Mother, I’ve made my choice,” her youngest daughter stated. “I hate working at my place. I hate it and how they’ve treated you, Jasmine, and myself. I want to make a difference and have a better life for all of us. The one who showed me where they are has promised you’ll be safe. I’m going to fight.”
“But you don’t know how to,” her older sister said with worry. “Please, I can’t lose you like we’ve lost our father. You’re the only little sister I’ve got.”
“I won’t die,” Amethyst replied. “Because for the first time in my life I feel I’ve made the right decision. I’m listening not to my brain, but my heart. And that sometimes is better to make decisions with…”
Julie and Jasmine looked at the other, knowing once the young female made up her mind, there was no changing it. “But… what about those owners?” the older sibling asked. “They won’t let you or me quiet.”
“The one who brought me into Talon said he would take care of that.” The other two looked at the other again.
“Then… how do we even find them?” Jasmine asked. “I at least want to see them first before making a decision.”
Amethyst and Nicholas were able to meet up and she told him the other two would be coming. A few nights later the family of three met him at the same place where the youngest had the first time. The male dragon was there first but didn’t have to wait long for the females. “You made it, good,” he whispered. “We can properly meet at the base.” The females were wearing cloaks like him.
He led the way to Talon’s place like he did with Amethyst last time and soon they were standing inside. Nicholas took of his cloak hood as did the other females and that’s when Julie and Jasmine realized who he really was. “My Lord Cobalt!” the older sibling whispered and bowed.
“None of that,” he said with a kind smile. “You can call me Nicholas like your sister. Here we are all equals.”
Julie on the other hand noticed her youngest daughter was looking at the winged one and saw, or thought she saw, something in Amethyst’s eyes. It was a look that she knew all too well but before the mother dragoness could say anything, they were taken before Torn and the other leaders here. “So, the others have come,” he said with a smile. “Welcome to Talon. I assume Amethyst has told you everything?”
“She has…” Julie replied. “I may not like it. But I can see this is something she wants to do. And Nicholas has made mention you will help us.”
“We will. We’ll take you to those who wish to leave go. A hidden place called Manuta. It’s far away from here and well-hidden as a base of operations. You’ll be safe there.”
“I still am trying to get over this,” Jasmine whispered.
“Your sister was like that to,” Janet commented.
“So… what will we do?” Julie asked.
“Well if you do agree, you’ll stay here for a night,” Torn answered. “Then we’ll take you out of the city at night and to Manuta. Amethyst will stay behind to begin her training to fight. If it gets too dangerous, she’ll be sent to where you are.”
“She’ll be very safe, I’ll make sure of that,” Nicholas said to her mother. Julie saw the look in his eyes and was shocked to see it was the same she thought she had seen in Amethyst. But now wasn’t the time to talk about that.
“Then I’ll go to this place,” Jasmine stated. “Truth is I hate working at that place to. I want to live better.”
“And I do as well,” Julie agreed. It was settled. But now some complicated things were going to come up.
