I remember DA... made me envious of some, and cringe from others... Remember some cartoons of kids doing things? And some people thought heya I'ma try shipping these child characters... I aborted it and came over here cuz hey Fender whispered "we don't allow underage characters fornicating".

remember dA nothin, it's one of the other major places i get my business. as much as dA is a shitshow of overzealous, oversensitive children and weirdass, meanspirited manbabies, it's still the biggest casual art site out there, and that brings in the views, the dough, and the internet presence.
props to FA for banning kiddie porn (which i think was a thing a long time ago but they only recently began being militant about? not sure) but also FA did have that mass exodus years back becus they hired an outed rapist on their team and silenced anyone who said shit about it, plus a lot of people on here are continually freakish even when they're managing to work with/around the rules, so i guess no online art site is truly perfect. most are bizarre as hell by default, really

It is disgusting what goes on behind the scenes of these art sites. I would like to make my own, but I don't have the time or patience for it.
