The form ‘Dying Star’ can be activated in all of Pyre’s timelines, including those that do not necessarily contain magical abilities. This is due to her intrinsic connection to the void, and how her emotions effect her inner flame.
This feral form is the only reason Pyre is even allowed out on the battlefield; her ability to stay alive despite the odds is uncanny, and almost considered downright cheating. Combined with her natural form’s ability to take aggro and self regeneration; Pyre can take a downright beating. However, she cannot activate it herself, she can only use this form to protect another she has bonded with.
