So a couple months ago I decided it was time for a change. There were a number of reasons I decided to change my fursona - a bunch of small ones, and one really, really big one. I'd stopped connecting with the fursona I'd made years ago when I first started getting into the fandom. Instead of representing who I was and who I wanted to be, he'd become the carrier of my burdens, my guilt, failures, and depression.

So I decided to get away from that and start fresh, and settled on this doofus as the new me. He's lovable, caring, energetic and thoughtful, some ofthe qualities I value in myself and want to encourage.
