Yaaay! Heehee, I never would have expected those particular characters to be the ones who came to Avis's rescue! But I just know that when we all get together, we can stop all the meanies of the world! Nothing can stand up to the power of clever and cuddly cubs! ^.^

Yep, yep, yep! *Hugs* It just wouldn't be a proper sequel without you guys. :) Furthermore, as they are residents of the Bennet capital, it only seemed fitting that Berto and Kaffre make an appearance to represent the amazing Songbird Squires in which Avis and Ham-Ham so lovingly created. :)

Wow, I was surprised by the return of the Songbird Squires too! It's odd that Avis took her on in battle and got so hurt, but the two little cuties just come in and splash her, causing her to flee. :B Maybe he should'a just yelled for help!
I hope Avis'll be alright, and hopefully with the aid of more clerics and the special friends they have, they can take down the Esperlady! When we work together it's much better!

Avis Brightwing ask for help? Oh, no! He's way too proud to ever admit an opponent is too great for his mad skills in combat. Though, as was apparent, sometimes even the best of us need help to get out of a jam. :)

I was in a bit of a bind in writing this section. This is because, technically, Berto "sensed" what was going on like he did when Tealon was trying to find Oxnard in the original series. With any luck, I should be able to clear up any confusion about why Kaffre had a fish-bowl and why the water within it hurt Espersona so bad when I write their next section in the tale.

Yep, yep, yep! Working together is definately what will make things better as the story continues to progress. Lots of faces are going to start showing up within the coming sections to lend a hand in their own special, sort of way and it will be interesting to see how everyone's actions play a role on dealing with Espersona and the volatile Grimoire of Ennui. :)
