a photo of big on my work shirt that i entered in a bug forum website. she wouldn't sit still for too long so this is one of like... two photos that came out in focus, haha. i really want a good SLR for bug photos, but alas, it is not within reach.

she was hungry when this was taken so they were a dark black colour, but when she's been well fed, they are a beautiful bright green. it's so cool!

yes, i do! i keep several different species of mantids as pets, actually, all different shapes and sizes.
