candy is a really peculiar one, to be sure. she'll threat pose at the drop of a hat which will be quite beautiful once she has her wings. she'll be the first mantis i've kept that i can provoke, and much more easily than i would have expected.

she's actually two or three molts from adult (providing i'm keeping track of her properly!) and will be over three inches long when she does. her species gets up to 4" and since she's been big her whole life so far, i'm hoping she'll keep with the trend.
