bad photo, it was through her cup, but here's candy doing what she does best... pretending to be a stick. she sits like this on the lid of her cup 99% of the time. if you jostle her, she'll tuck her head and put her claws straight out and then start swaying a little so it looks like the wind is rustling her. it's really precious.
this isn't a unique behaviour, just one that i don't see as much in big and chartreuse, though i have seen each of them do it once.

i absolutely love watching them. there's a reason i like to keep these little dudes around my desk. it's really fascinating.
and i do find that the more you study and get close to them, the less fearful you become. we aren't afraid of things naturally, rather are trained through experience and other people to be afraid. with a little inquisition and slow introduction, you become more and more comfortable around the things you fear :>
